Sometimes a beloved item doesn't need to be thrown out, but a changing stage of life could call for it to be repurposed.

Its easy to shove things together on open shelves trying not to waste space but utilizing containers divides the shelves and makes it easier to see what you have at a glance. And... LABELS!!! Lables are your best friend!

It's easy for a garage to become a space to store things you feel the need to keep but don't have a place for. Use things that belong in the garage to create borders and learn to think of the garage as an actual room, not just a storage area.

Good rule of thumb: when you have this many shelves, and your stuff doesn't all fit on the shelves, it's time to get rid of some things. And did I mention... LABELS!!!!!
